Access Data and Server Log Files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system. This processing ensures reliable operation and system security under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted after no more than 30 days unless it is needed longer to investigate a specific security incident.

Contact Form, Email and Phone

If you contact us via the contact form, email or phone, we process your details to handle the request and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual inquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once the request has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Job Applications

We process submitted application documents solely to carry out the application process under Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. After the process is concluded, the documents are deleted after no more than six months unless you have consented to longer storage.

Cookies and Consent Management

This website uses technically necessary cookies required for the site to function. The legal basis is Section 25(2) of the Telecommunications-Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Consent-based analytics and marketing services are only loaded after you have agreed in the consent banner. No scripts or cookies from these providers are loaded or set before your consent. We store your choice locally in your browser (localStorage) with a version number so we can ask you again if anything changes. You can adjust or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer, with effect for the future.

Google Analytics 4

After your consent to the Statistics category, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Pseudonymous usage data such as pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device and browser is processed. IP anonymisation is enabled; the IP address is truncated before any storage. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG.

Google Ads and Conversion Tracking

After your consent to the Marketing category, we use Google Ads with conversion tracking, also provided by Google Ireland Limited. This measures whether an ad click led to a contact inquiry or job application. No personal content of your inquiry is transmitted to Google, in particular no name, email address, phone number or message text. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before your consent, the signals analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to denied. Only after your consent are the respective signals updated to granted and the Google tag loaded.

Data Transfer to the USA

When using Google services, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. The USA is considered a third country without a generally equivalent level of data protection. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 GDPR additionally apply. Nevertheless, a risk of access by US authorities remains. By giving your consent, you expressly agree to this transfer under Article 49(1)(a) GDPR.

Retention Periods for Measurement Data

Usage data in Google Analytics 4 is automatically deleted after a maximum of 14 months. Conversion data in Google Ads is retained according to Google's specifications, typically up to 90 days for click data. Your consent decision remains stored in your browser until withdrawn or until this policy is changed.

Origin Data for Inquiries

When you submit a form, in addition to your details we store technical origin data of the request, such as campaign parameters of the accessed URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), a Google Ads click ID (gclid), the referring page and the entry page. This data is used to process and evaluate our advertising measures. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the economic management of our advertising.

Processors and Recipients

To provide this website and our services, we use carefully selected service providers, for example for hosting, email delivery and IT maintenance. These are contractually bound under Article 28 GDPR. Transfer to third countries only takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards.
